How to get an alert when a company files at Companies House
21 October 2026 · Figures as of 21/10/2026
Companies House publishes every filing, but it won't tell you when a company you care about has filed something new. Ltd Edition will.
What you can watch for
- New filings: accounts, confirmation statements, changes of registered office.
- Officer changes: directors appointed or leaving.
- Charges: new secured lending registered against the company.
- Insolvency: a case opening.
- People with significant control: changes in who controls the company.
- Name, address or status changes.
- Deadlines: reminders before accounts and confirmation statements fall due, and a warning if they're overdue.
How alerts reach you
By email on every plan, Slack on Plus and above, and signed webhooks for your own systems on Pro and Agency. Choose instant alerts or a daily round-up. Pro and Agency watchlists are matched against Companies House's live streams, so alerts arrive within minutes. You can also subscribe to every deadline in your calendar with a private iCal link.
