Ltd Edition API

The whole UK company register, births and deaths as they happen, town statistics and figures parsed from filed accounts, over one simple REST API.

• Auth: create a key in your account and send it as Authorization: Bearer ltd_live_….
• Quota: per team per UK day by plan (Plus 1,000 · Pro 5,000 · Agency 25,000). Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining.
• Formats: JSON; dates YYYY-MM-DD; money in integer pence; errors as {"error": {"code", "message"}}.
• Spec: OpenAPI 3.1.

Leads feed

Saved filters (industry, SIC codes, towns, distance from a postcode) delivered each morning by email or signed webhook. Set them up under Leads. Leads are company-level only.

Webhook signatures

Webhooks carry X-LtdEdition-Signature: t=<unix>,v1=<hex>, where v1 is HMAC-SHA256 of t + "." + raw_body with your signing secret. Reject timestamps older than 5 minutes.

Data & licence

Company data is from Companies House under the Open Government Licence. Officer data is personal data: use it only for purposes you have a lawful basis for, and honour removal requests.
