The words rising in new UK company names (October 2026)

21 October 2026 · Figures as of 21/10/2026

Company names are a small window on what people are starting. Our trend spotter counts the words in the names of companies registered in the last 30 days and compares their rate with the 90 days before, per 10,000 new companies.

Rising, as of 21/10/2026

Words with the biggest rise in rate (and how many new names used them in the last 30 days):

How to read it

Small numbers move fast: a word that appears in 18 new names can show a four-figure rise if it barely appeared before. A jump can come from a single group of related companies registered together. So treat the list as a set of leads, not proof of a movement, and click through to see the companies behind each word.

One caution about this month: our live feed started on 09/10/2026, and companies registered between 01/09 and 08/10 aren't in our database yet, so the last 30 days hold fewer names than usual (26,721). Rates are per 10,000 names, so they stay comparable.
